Akoustik Piano thru pt8/003

    hi,
    bit of a strange one but, when i use AP either as a plugin in protools8 or as a standalone but using my digi 003 as my soundcard AP is not right, each note has a maximum sustain of about 1 second + it sounds like multiple samples are playing, eg. slight phasing and wierd velocity hits. if anyone can help, would be MUCH appreciated!
    ps. works fine when i use my crappy onboard soundcard

    - Mac Pro Dual Quad 3GHz
    - 8GB RAM
    - OSX - 10.5.6

    ppps. have installed Akoustik Piano update + PTcs2 update + 003 firmware update
