Algorithmic Composition with R4

    Does anyone know if R4 supports a module that will algorithmicly
    create notes. I want to be able to deterministicly create notes
    using a set of rules. It would be nice to use a C like language to define these rules and save them as a module that I could use
    again. Any ideas?

    There are entire ensembles that run on nothing but algorithms, no user controls at all. Unfortunately, you can't use C or a C like language to do this. Nor can you write your own modules. I'm currently working on an algorithmically centered software for os x that will let you do those things, but its not exactly near usable yet. ;-)

    If you want a free solution and know object oriented languages, I think keykit provides pretty good stuff
