Aliasing, Oversampling, Transients, Bandlimiting, Sum of Sines..

    Guys! Can you explain what is this:
    Here is no transient in Serum waveform with oversampling set to 1x

    Here is the same waveform but with oversampling set to 4x
    18.png
    19.png
    But now we can see this transients.. What is it? And why?
    As I understand there is no one in analog waveforms

    It is present in analog waveforms as well, after you digitize them into a wave file. Google for Gibbs Phenomenon.
