So, here they are all the patterns from the factory kits, manually resaved for your pleasure :p

Drag em to your pattern folder (on osx documents > native instruments > maschine > patterns)

Now use the quickbrowse with the pattern browser view, and scan through all the patterns with 1 kit

    *edit*
argghh: Datenbankfehler, Es trat ein Problem mit der NI User Forums Datenbank auf. :S

I can Upload them to a share site but i think it will be better directly on the forum.

ew, can you help out? Maybe i mail them 2u and you place them here/ or could you check with what's up with the "datenbank" :p

Try zipping the folder. If that doesn't work, mail me through the forum.

Ah... I'm getting the same error. Must be a glitch with the servers.

I'll put them up in my FTP space if you want.

I've downloaded the file and extracted it with WinRar, after that it gave me huge error that it couldn't extract the ones for OSX. Okay I've skipped that because I don't want to have those anyway because I'm using Windows XP.

Okay so after that I selected all the patterns that I've just extracted and copied them into C:\Documents and Settings\*MY NAME*\My Documents\Native Instruments\Maschine\Patterns. I restarted Maschine after that but the Patterns didn't show up in my borwser for some reason!

Can anyone help with that? It was an extremely good idea to extract those patterns so we can apply those pattern for different Kits...

    Hi ShocK:.,

Just a hunch, try hitting the rescan button in preferences > user path,
or maybe the preferences > libraries page.... (i think it will be the latter)

Weird that the extraction process gave you those errors, how many patterns do you get that way?

I've got all the 1360;), I just don't have the ones for Mac OS X. The extracted OSX stuff but that gave me an error saying that those files are corrupted or something... Doesn't matter... It looks like to me that XP doesn't like the files that the MAC's are using:D

Anyway the thing you said worked:cool: Preferences > User Paths and after that Libraries then Rescaned both... :p

Nice wor kmy friend I appreciate it:lol:

Awesome... thanx for doing this and for sharing!

I'm starting to do the reverse of this as well... saving the kits without the patterns. Loading a kit with someone else's pattern is kind of a buzz kill IMHO. Probably a good idea to set aside the originals, so I'll do that.

    cheers

@bimbam: you can select multiple patterns with shift in the browser, and drag them to the pattern lane (a1, a2....) to load them all at once.

@sowari: strange it doesn't extract, seems like a permission thing. I compressed them using the built in compresssion in osx 10.5.6...
If you want to i can upload them somewhere uncompressed (48 mb vs 2 mb...)

@continuous: hehe that would be my next edit-marathon, maybe we could join forces and do each half of the kits, if others want to chime in lemme know.
Alternatively you could always do your own patterns in the b,c or d range of the patterns and resave the kit with the b,c,d range focussed.
That way you would know wich patterns are the user and wich patterns are the factory banks. (factory is only in the a range...)

maybe it has got something to do withthe fact i downloaded from Eric's FTP

try uploading somewhere compressed or maybe you could PM me and we will exchange emails.

but if it is 2 MB it should upload here.

Maybe if i can ask you ew, you could resave the files in winrar on pc and put back on your ftp, windows discards permissions from osx so it should work..., (and osx opens every compressed file from windows, but not vice versa)

Unzip with the Terminal.app using the -j flag.
    ;)

    edit:
    1. Place the file to unzip within an empty folder.
    2. Start the Terminal.app
    3. Type
    Code:
    cd
    hit spacebar
    4. drag folder onto Terminal window, and hit ENTER
    5. Type
    Code:
    unzip -j
    6. hit the spacebar
    7. drag the file to unzip onto the Terminal window
    8. hit ENTER
    9. files will be extracted to folder
