I don't use winrar, sorry to say. And, I just explored and copied the patterns when I extracted them; if I try to unzip it, I get CNC errors from every pattern on the Mac side.

What I'll do is just .zip the patterns by themselves and repost it.

And, they're up; same link. Dump your browser cache if you're redownloading them.

    @res308...

Did the 808 and 909 kit last night... quick and easy.

The downside is that even if you save the kit without any patterns it still clears any patterns that have been written when loading a kit. In other words you can't load the 808 kit write a pattern and then, using buttons 5 and 6 (previous and next) try out different kits with that pattern. But it's worth it to me just to be able to load a kit and have a 'blank canvas'.

Still drinking my morning coffee so this likely doesn't make sense :)

if the pattern is A1, click on A1 (or is it right click)and you'll get a drop down menu one of which is Save.

Sorry if this is not the right place to post this but I have got to ask...

Do you think we should be able to save the whole patter? For example A1, A2, A3 etc? I guess to me the pattern can be just the A1 section but can also be A1-A15 if one defines it as so. If you save the Group it will save all the 'sections' I think but then it's saved in a different area as a group, with the kit, instrument or sample that is currently loaded.

Really just wondering what others think on this, not a biggie either way I suppose.

Having enjoyed the fruits of your labor for a little bit now, Res308, I can definitely say you should receive a medal or something for your efforts. Loads of fun, and often unexpected results...

Between you posting this, and Suicide Server's vids, this community is starting to be a much more exciting place! Thanks...

I flushed the Analog kits, and I noticed that Stephan_B is a commedian, or he should have been a gfx artist...
(I think he took the "paint" tool too literal.)

I think the most interesting part of this is that they look like pretty simple text files.

Spoke too soon.. Binary and ascii.. another proprietary format.. how useless in anything but your program. Super design.

I think the problem with the Mac stuff is sorted now coz I just unzipped on my Mac no problem.

Nice idea & great work! Will check it out when I get time.

What are the steps on deleting the patterns or resaving the kits without the patterns? Thanks in advance..

Thanks for posting the extracted patterns!
Really saves a great deal of work.

It's a bit of a laugh to place them into other kits in the factory library. Both good results... plenty of not so good too. ;)
