I'm trying to run live audio through a deck to add effects, but everything is coming through quite latent. Bass/Guitar is unplayable. If I'm launching external loops, I can take my decks out of sync and nudge them and everything will line up, but that's not ideal, and doesn't solve my live playing issues. When I press the green aux button there is no latency, but as soon as it's routed through a deck, there is a delay.

Im using my Kontrol S5 as the soundcard. Pro 3. My laptop is a only a 2016 Yoga 710. It's no beast by any means but it used to be my production laptop and it ran most everything I threw at it fine. I'm trying to build a show and incorporate jamming with my Maschine/Jam/Complete Kontrol while DJing older completed tracks to transition to new machine projects and this hurdle is proving insurmountable.

There are no available latency settings, the photo shows the greyed out options in my audio settings.

Hello, just change the "audio device" to "kontrol s5 asio" .

That is not an option. Asio4all is but then no audio will be routed through the live decks. I have been searching the internet for S5 ASIO drivers for the last few hours. Maybe I should uninstall the controller and try fresh?

I have Maschine ASIO drivers, but I'm currently using the Maschine on the second laptop...

Hello i think you should reinstall S5.
    1. unplug S5
    2. uninstall Traktor Kontrol s5 drivers and then i suggest you to restart your laptop
    tks5_asio_0.jpg
    3. redownload them from https://www.native-instruments.com/en/support/downloads/drivers-other-files/
( Traktor Kontrol S5 Driver 4.2.0 - Windows 7 and above), install them
    4. plug s5
    5. run traktor and select asio driver
    tks5_asio_1.jpg
For example, on my S8 (which is similar to S5) I have this settings and latency is bearable (i got microphone connected and routed via live deck to get those traktor effects).

There will be always latency, but with original asio drivers (created for your device, not asio4all) you will get the maximum from sound device.

edit: and after you ll get it done, maybe take a look here: https://djtechtools.com/2014/02/28/sync-and-perform-with-maschine-traktor/ (on some hints how to connect machine+traktor)

But to be completely honest, link doesn't work on my system either. I've been trying to get it to work for weeks but the Maschine always starts on the 1.2 beat and not on the 1 itself. My solution to that has been to turn off link and line it up manually, but it's not ideal. If I run Maschine as a vst in Ableton, the ones and twos will line up perfectly but I lose some functionality on the controller.

Btw I have no experience with Machine, but that link I posted describes workaround with "midi sync" instead of "Link". (or maybe I am understanding it wrong :) )
    Screenshot.jpg
For windows there will be a need to install 3rd party software, which is described here: https://www.native-instruments.com/...ion-doesnt-appear-in-my-out-port-list.159781/ - second response: "Windows does not have a virtual MIDI device built-in. Download a virtual MIDI cable such as loopbe1").

edit: there is a video included, on that link i sent - maybe it will bring some thoughts (when that video was released there was no "Link" function in traktor, only midi sync):
