Allen & Heath Xone 3D with stems?

So I've been looking for a good midi-controller that I can map it to control stems, and just came over a reeaally cheap used xone 3D.

From its interface it looks perfect to control both normal mixing and stems. But I know that it is an old mixer, so I'm not even sure if it would work, or if I should look for new hardware. What are your thoughts?

 

i dont know the #D , but natives D2 is nicely priced now ...

 

I have already found a cheap 3D, basically I'm wondering if it is a good idea to buy it, if i want to use the faders on the "MIDI part" to control stems

 

I dont know if the price is right, thats why i pointed out the D2, because of the offer thats out now.
of course you can use the 3d it only is some work mapping the stems commands. but should be ok to do so now that stems are vissible on the screen of your laptop. Maybe look in the F1 stems mapping to see the easy way to do such a thing...

 

I found it for something like 250 dollars, but apparently it needs some fixing. Thank you for your reply, I hope to be able to fix it and be rocking stems soon.
