The posibilty to Change length of a scenes.... when i have 8 bar pattern and i could tell the scene to play two or more times or just the halftime or less. So i can save scenes by arranging but i dont have so long patterns for playing live..... more flexibilty.

And the posibilty to play in the arrange mode at the point where the cursor is. So i can here the song and play with the effects or i can play a melody over all. something like a free run button in the arranger. That would be amazing, i think ok this both things together arent realistic but this are just ideas!

and then i would love it when i could make patterns shorter or longer from the startpoint not only from the end..... like abelton...

AND a cursor in the sampler window....... for long long long samples

Kore 2 Fx instead of maschine FX.

I found maschine filter and Fx very bad sounding compare to the standard top quality Kore 2 Fx.

there is very little i have not tied to get the real tracks in my new version of band in a box " up291 "

all the ctracks start for the styles but only play for 2 bars , then they drop out and only the drum track plays

i'm not that handy with computers and i'm about at the end of my witts

i've joined forums but i dont know how to post anything ,this may sound stupid , but i've tried

when opening the vst and au pluginlist it would be great if u can press a letter on the keyboard and u jump to the plugins in the list that start with that letter: if you press "R" you jump to Reaktor for example

LOVE this simplicity of MASCHINE...please keep it like this! Dont bloat it out and become a DAW like some of these crazies want! My list of improvements is (fairly) simple and straightforward:

1. Bar/Beat/Counter in software...please
2. Better way to skip through VST patches...at the moment we need to access MODULE>VST Presets> then scroll through list of presets...can become time consuming. Would be great if there was a little back and forward arrow where the VST wrapper is and if the preset name is displayed in the area which is currently blank (where the little magnifying glass is)..would be such a time-saver!
3. Able to set loop regions in patterns...e.g. if I am working within a 16 bar pattern but want to just concentrate on laying down a part from bars 3-7 at the moment I have to set REC and let the whole 16 bar pattern play

then...

4. Pad stacking...i.e. to be able to easily stack up to 5 sounds on one pad..I know you can do this at the moment but you need to fix the mapping page because its impossible to select between the different sounds when they are on top of eachother without messing about velocities to 'reveal' the layer underneath...have the tabs with the sample names on top, like an index file!

5. A way to better organise plugs and VST, e.g. by name, manufacturer, ability to alter name of VST

6. Renaming of macros and macro pages so that you can personalise for each vst

7. Timestretch, Gater, and Sidechain added to FX section

8. Pattern editor could be slightly better - I like the simplicity - but would be nice if it would "recognise" the notes when I want to stretch them out without having to zoom in first. Also when you are stretching out wish it would snap to the grid! At the moment it seems to stretch as increments dependent on the grid quantize and the original length of the recorded note....OR maybe I am doing something wrong...let me know!

9. Unsoloing or unmuting returns to previous state, NOT like at the moment it just unmutes/unsolos all 16 sound slots!

10. Keep the software SIMPLE and CPU-lite!

my 3

1 the ability to save a project in its OWN folder (ie samples, sounds etc) PLEASE! i need this. instead of everything from EVERY beat ive ever made in one place. such a mess...

2 being able to export USED sounds in groups! either individual groups but a MASS export for USED sounds in ALL groups would be even better and create FASTER workflow. (or at least have the USED pads light a solid orange when the export menu is pulled down so i can mute the other pads around it. instead of exporting DEAD SPACE aka Silent wavs...

3 i mainly want the first two but the 3rd would be an easier way to save samples to the pad of your choice and not the entire slice. (like if im chopping drums and i want the kick to go...here on THIS pad... etc
