    My top Three

    1. Better filter and envelope. Envelopes fast enough for drums and fat enough for synth.

    2. A filter effect similar to the Mutronics Mutator

    3. The rest of the S&S (sample and synthesis) Package: assignable envelope for amp, filter, pitch etc.that are triggered by note on, not perceived amplitude.

Did I say that I LOVE MASCHINE !

    1. Vst/AU FX support! I wanna use my nice UAD Compressors instead of the cheezy stock one.

    2. Midi out. Why did I buy all theese sweet vintage analog synths if I can't sequence em? I know I could do so in my DAW but I could also do everything else there too. I wanna keep my eyes on MASCHINE!

    3. Easier user sample tag/load. There's another thread on this. There should be a browser screen to browse your HD/homegrown samples and quickly import and tag samples per the hundreds like you can songs with serato (sorry) instead of this Time wasting one by one BS.

Let's make this thing a serious studio hub piece!

    Right...

what, you mean through in out routing? im talking about in maschines fx section. hmmm.... ok so the other two still stand though. ill change that one.

how about drag and drop importation?

mostly i think the idea is that maschine would be most suited to adapt into something like a MPC/Battery/live style sequencer with hella sample lib focusing on drums.

ALSO! 128k or even 96k (origionally & processed ie not an old 48k resampled to 96k) sample lib. theese sounds whould be so much more usable to small timers if they were already processed through some nice gear like enhancers and classic compressors. I think most people would rather have a smaller library of high fi studio quality samples instead of millions cheezy roland/kawia/cassio sounding poo. You cant always take a crap sample and make it nice no mater how much gear you got.

Right now my top three features are :

    1. Full MIDI IN and OUT inside the DAW.

    2. Ability to RECORD mute and solo actions as a NEW PATTERN in maschine
AND as midi out in DAW

    3. Count in option when starting the recording of those really long patterns ( I can wait 4 bars to loop but waiting for 32 bars is a pain  )

Quantize note length based on GRID.

Fixed velocity option when recording note repeat and external midi input.

Being able to change the start point of the pattern like you can already change the length.

    - Macro Control per Sound, Group, Project
    - Automation of any Parameter from a DAW (or at least selectable like in Kontakt's Automation Tab)
    - Sequencer View on the Maschine Controller Display (extracts of course) with selectable note

Here is what I have noticed, apart from the full MIDI coming in 1.1:

    - Better sample editing. Keep the being-modified end point locked (where it is, if the end-point is visible on screen, snap-to-left/right-1/4 if not), move the sample, to keep things centered. Add controller-based zoom.

    - Time-stretching.

    - Export complete song with all needed files to an external folder, from which it should be launchable again.

As a bonus request, I do think that the entire feature-set should be available on both controller and in software. Right now there are exceptions in both directions. Bias towards a smooth workflow on the controller, of course. A complete set of menus with all features would be an interesting option, to allow some scripting control, but this is lower priority.

    Great product!

The most important ones in my opinion:

    - Timestretching (definitely!)

    - Better sampleediting as CarstenW posted: controller-based zoom and manual slicing

    - Realtime/Live scene-editing

Please don't let us wait that long!

    1. programmable appregiator like omnispheres

    2. step sequencer for melodies... ie, put the note in like the normal step mode, but use arrows to select pitch.

    3. Scale/chord Mode so that the if i select D minor, the pads will only play notes that fall in the d minor scale. and ability to play chords by hitting just one pad after selecting major or minor chord like u woudl select scale in scale mode.

i edited the part concerning a drum synth out, since i think it's coming anyways. sooner or later...
    so this is it:

    1. ability to duplicate notes with a pad, not only the pad itself. this is dumb! if i don't want the notes i could simply delete them. but there's no way to copy them from one pad to another with the the controller. pretty annoying...

    2. arpeggiator

    3. remix function as in reaktors limelite

1, Being able to save a project with everything (samples etc.), then truncating automatically comes in I think. Because of less space.
2, Recording scenes and automation live in a DAW, or standalone.
    3, VST support

Of course importing of Battery kits, but I will not include it because it seems like we are going to get it anyway :)

After using Maschine for some days, I will change my wish number 3 to:
being able to rename recorded samples and define the record folder.

It is a pitty we have to wish for this.

    1. Stepp mode should get (Root) Note from Piano Roll.
this would be great for sequencing!
    2. Timestretching
    3. Drag and Drop Midi files (Midis) from Maschine in Daw and other way around

+1. That's the one biggest limitation to Maschine IMO.

All these definatly should be done.. especialy the ones mentioned a few times.. time streching, control over cutting samples and control parameters from the DAW ie to animate the mute (i realy want this more than anything)

Also I MUST add ... more outputs! seriously.. One output for every pad,.. so 16pads X 8banks = 128 outputs.. I would cream over this..

ok.. now my question is, we have this thread section of the forum.. but is it even possible that NI is going to implemet any of this.. I mean damn right they should.. but will they?
