It would be great if Massive could handle alternative and microtonal tunings like FM8/Pro53 and many other soft synths.

How about the ability to import Scala or TUN files?

So it doesn't handle microtuning? That's insane. Won't buy it, in that case.
This is the 21th century! Why should we stick to a 19th century piano tuning compromise with 12 equal steps on VIRTUAL instruments??! That's totally against the idea of a modular, flexible, tweakable, and innovative synthesizer! Electronic instruments were microtonal already in the 1930's! Earlier!

    Tuning anyone ?

I'm hoping there's plans to make Massive accept tuning files, like Absynth, Pro-53, or even Scala files, anything to use Massive playing something other than Equal Temperament. It could be accomplished monophonically by sending it pitch-bend info, but I'm drooling over the possibility of how sweet and lush some of the space-age pads in Massive would sound playing chords using Just-Intonation or other purer tunings... I can't work in Equal Temperament anymore, everything sounds too bland and grey.. I would think that with the amount of design that went into Massive, they would be able to simply make it able to use other tunings, especially when this is already a feature on several other (if not all) NI synths...

Please help ! Any info is greatly appreciated... then i'll know whether or not it is worth learning at the moment.. (I got it for free as part of an NI promotion.. If I had to buy it, it would totally depend on this tuning issue)

Any softsynth without microtuning is an absurd anachronism.
