Then you need a 2 splitter cables for each of your decks.

Like I said above - you need to split the rca outs from each TT into 4 (2xL, and 2xR)

Then you take 1L & 1R, and plug that into your PHONO in on your mixer. That gets the audio out of the TT, and into the mixer.
THEN, you take the remaining 1L & 1R, and plug that into your Audio 10. That gets the Traktor TC out of your TT, and INTO Traktor.
Then, you take a normal rca cable, and take that from your Audio 10, to the LINE in on the same mixer channel as on the previous step.
Then, you just use the line/phono switch on your mixer to cj=hoose your source on each channel - audio from Traktor (Line IN), or audio from vinyl (Phono IN).

    Sure thanks for this advise!
However I doubt that this fuzz/ noise will fade.
I will try this passive filters and advise.

    regards

I think the only option that could work perfectly is to add other TT to my setup so it will be only for DVS.

I’m definitely missing something here mate.

what could be simpler than using the line/phono selector on the mixer?

Agreed that nothing could be simpler then switching between line/phono
However i have this back noise with multicore cables and because of this i don't use them. (I will try this ferrite and the 4 Y RCa adaptors and revert back with advise)

As a normal setup my TT's are connected to NI Audio 10 inputs D and C. Then outputs D, C, B and A go from Audio 10 to each of four mixer channels as LINE. As this everything is perfect and no noise/ buzz heard with this config.

The only issue is my computer being faraway from my DJ booth. This means every time i need to switch between real vinyl and traktor scratch i have to go and, with the mouse, change manually in Audio 10 Control Panel between Direct Thru and Traktor Scratch.

As per previous investigation Audio 10 Control Panel cannot be midi mapped so this is really annoying.

It does sound like your multi core cable is faulty...

I tried the ferrite clamps a while back on some usb and audio cables. No real noticeable difference to my ears... I ended up taking them off.

    Hi mate

I didn’t try the above DIY multicore solution but my issue with normal cabling was that my real vinyl was playing much quieter via direct thru function. My workaround is to setup LIVE inputs when playing real vinyl and then boost the gain via the software. If I want to play DVS I simply switch back to the track input and reset gain to zero on the software.

When I want to play real vinyl without laptop I just plug into phono inputs on my mixer as it’s literally next to it

    Thanks

How far? Are you using long audio cables from the booth to the computer?

It’s pretty easy. You get an rca splitter (1 female to 2 male), and split each out put from your TT. So, TT1 Left (white rca), become TT1 Left1, and TT1 Left2.

Do the same for TT1 Right (Red).

Then, take TT1 Left1, and TT1 Right1, and connect that straight to your mixers Phono in. This is how you’ll play real records - just flip the input selector to Phono on that channel.

Then, take TT1 Left2 and TT1 Right2, and connect to your audio interface. This is how you get you Timecode signal into Traktor. Then, take another rca cable, and connect it to the output of your audio interface, and take that to your mixer, same channel as Left1 & Right1, but connect it to the Line In. This is how you play Traktor - by flipping the input selector to Line.

Sounds fairly straight forward but would this work with an audio6 soundcard?

Yeah - because you’re splitting the signal BEFORE it gets to the A6.

The A6 doesn’t even know that the signal has been split.

Sure - but your additional RCA's should be female to male (not male to male)

ah yes of course. So I would need 4 splitters and 4 female to male rca leads.

This seems fairly straight forward. I'm going to give it a try. Thanks for all your help

Actually you don't even need the cables. I have a audio 4 and all you have to do is plug the turntables into the interface and rca cables out from the same interface into the mixer , no feedback no issues, just smoove music.
