Hi I am starting this thread for my new American Audio Radius 3000 Map Project. This project isn't yet complete and is still in the works. Here is the lowdown. First this map isn't being written from scratch. It is more of a expansion on the factory TSI from American Audio. The factory TSI is ok for some basic functions but lacks some functonality and LED feedback from Traktor. Here is some ideas I am working on and hopefully will be able to implement into the map. First is better fx controll. I am learning to map fx control to the jogwheel. Most likey will have to build a modifier to flip betweeen fx and pitch bend on the wheel. Most likely will have to dump scratch function unless I find a way to use modifiers to include that function with pitch and fx mapped to the wheel. Second I am turning to the Reloop button into a toggle for flux mode. Third is turning the Radius 3000's sample button into a toggle for sample control on the 1 2 3 4 buttons on the Radius. Without a Traktor F1 you can only use the Remix decks top 4 slots. This will at least give you some controll over some samples and loops. Also the 1 2 3 4 LED feed back is going to be set to blue for visual feedback. Hoping I can have the buttons solid while stopped and blink while playing. I am trying to figure a way to load samples and loops into the individual slots on the Remix deck. Maybe a hold modifier that will load them into selected slot. For example holding M button and pressing 3 will load into 3. Fourth would be having 2 modes on the LED's below the screen that indicate fx time. One function would be for showing loop size position. The second function for these lights would be for the phase bar above your Traktor transports. Hoping the lights will mirror the phase bar. Those are the main things I trying to put into the map. I am adding some more things that will give the controller better LED feedback from Traktor. Thinking I may change the colours on the hot cue buttons on decks C and D to disinguish the Difference between which deck is active. If you have any ideas or knowledge that can help with the project feel free to share them. Hopefully this will be a short project to complete. I am not a mapping pro but I do feel I have good knowledge and understanding of it. I have done maps for other controllers from the ground up

How far have you gotten? Is there anything I can (potentially) help with?

    Hi everybody.

Every button I mapped works fine, only the Jogwheel and Pitchfader are without
function in midi-mode. They are "dead", but they are working normally in Usb/Disc Mode.

    What´s the problem here? :(

    Regards from germany,
    Mike

    Hi,

    solved the problem.
Just have to switch "dual control" at the radius 3000 to "off".

    Thanks and regards,
    Mike

Another update. I am close to finish on edition 1 of the map. I was unable to map some LED feedback I was hoping for on some functions. I replaced those output functions with blinking beat phased lights. The players are really flashy now. LED feedback is now 90% complete. Only a few more things to add and edition 1 is done. I will post a dl link very soon

I forgot to mention there will be a 1 Radius 3000 deck a/b map and a dual Radius Radius 4 deck a/c b/d map

Thanks so much for posting this, it appears to be working great. Much of the functionality I was previously missing is there. However, I have a few questions. When I load up this mapping, it seems that my player 1 is working as it should, but player 2 is not. There are no flashing LEDs and none of the effects work. In fact, the only buttons that do anything are the Play, Cue, and Loop buttons. Is there something that I need to do to make sure both of my players are on the same mapping?

When selecting tracks in Traktor using the "Track" knob, it seems to skip about 10 songs at a time with each click of the knob. Is there a way to change that so it scrolls one song at a time?

Also, is there a way to adjust the jog wheel scratch speed? If I spin the jog wheel to backspin a track it's like I'm turning the turntable platter in super speed.

Hey I am not exactly sure why your Deck B doesn't have lights or FX but I am looking into it. As for the track selecting there is a way to adjust that but I have to look at the map to remember that. The scratch speed can be adjusted by going in to map mode and find the scratch function. there is 2 sliders at the bottom of commands. I believe they are both in the 20 to 30 % range. Scale them back until you find a good range.
