American Audio VMS4 or Numark Mixdeck?

    I am in between the American Audio VMS4 and Numark Mixdeck to pick as my first controller ever. I am a beginner DJ and will be DJing house parties/frat parties but not clubs or anything for a while.

    Which controller is better/which would you prefer and which works better with Traktor Pro (aka has better mappings)...

    i would compare the both devices and see what fits your needs more - it's very hard to let someone else decide what ist better!

    do you need an ipod station? then go for the numark.
    do you need 4 decks? then go for the vms.

    etc. pp. - go through the features and see what suits you more. every device has its upsides and downsides!

    both devices have no official mappings made by NI, but there surely are mappings "out there" in the wild for both.

    Hello!

    If yhou work with only MP3 than i would recomend VMS 4. If you have a lot's of
    CD Then you should bye Mixdeck. Mixdeck have more function than VMS 4 have. but i prefer VMS 4 for the quality. I have only MP3.
