An audio input which can be used as a modulation source. Modulate a filter with a drum loop. Modulate the XFade Curve setting on an LFO with a vocal. Modulate the Modulation Oscillators pitch with a drum loop.

Level/Attack/Release settings on the audio input's envelope follower would be useful to help shape the sound of the audio input signal.

I really would like more than one audio input as a modulation source as Massive has so many modulation destinations. It would be great, for example, to be able to modulate one filter with a "kick" audio input signal and the other filter with a "hit" audio input signal. You could really create fantastic patches that would "groove" in time with your track.

I agree that would definitely be very useful, absynth can take audio sample input, so i wouldnt imagine it would be that tuff to program into massive.

Doesn't seem to be much response to my request fhyio123. Infact, there doesn't seem to be a much feedback from users on this forum in general. :(

I know what your saying. Dont worry bout it too much tho hesnot. theres definitely room for improvement with massive. Especially in terms of presets and innovation. Native instruments are not very good with their presets. Sorry NI but its true. Also massive still has bugs and it has been out over a year. It has great potential tho.

Hey guys, New here but that doesn't stop me from agreeing with you. Most people on here from what I can see bitch and moan about where all the tutorial videos are? lol. I find it funny because everything inside of Massive is explained pretty damn good in the user manual.

    But anyways.....

    Yes! +1

Importing external audio into Massive and maybe some side chaining capabilities would be Fashizzle my Nizzle!

Hi there Rob909e. Glad to read someone else would find importing external audio into Massive and side chaining capabilites would be useful.

"Importing external audio into Massive and maybe some side chaining capabilities would be Fashizzle my Nizzle!"

Importing external audio into Massive, without side chaining, I guess, means using Massive's effects and, possibly, filters (depending on what features NI decide to implement) to process external audio. I think I requested this elsewhere on this forum.

I feel I need to clarify my original post. It was originally intended to request an audio input which can be used as a modulation source. This is where the side chaining comes in.

Both of these features would definately Fashizzle my Nizzle!

To be honest. The only reason I use Massive is for the envelopes, LFO's, and Filters. I could do without most of the other stuff in Massive if the powers that be would add external audio support. All three of my hardware synths can support external audio in for modulating an outside signal, however, they can't compete with the modulators inside of Massive. They're Pretty Damn Massive!
