Analog Dreams Automation Envelope Problem

Hey Folks,

I've been having a very persistent issue with specifically the Analog Dreams synth in Reaper, where the automation drawn on the volume, cutoff, decay, etc. stops functioning correctly. Say I have a smooth line drawn from -20db, to 0db: after a few days of this automation existing, the synth will begin to play it incrementally, sounding as if I wrote the automation with sudden leaps instead of a straight line. When trying to fix this, Analog Dreams becomes even more erratic.

I've been able to fix this previously by creating a new track, loading up my preset and simply drawing new automation lines, but doing this for several instruments every couple days is getting ridiculous. I've tried reinstalling Analog Dreams to no avail. Has anybody else had this issue and been able to fix it?

Just wanted to chime in and say I'm also experiencing this issue with analog dreams and Reaper. PC, Win10 x64. Reaper 6.

 

Also, I usually load analog dreams via komplete kontrol, but I just checked via kontakt and it exhibits the same behaviour - but only on version 1.0, analog dreams 2.0 is normal and responsive.

Whatever the issue was, it was fixed for 2.0. Unfortunately 2.0 seems to be it's own separate instrument with it's own presets and we can't just opt to load all the presets with that, particularly not within komplete kontrol.

Could we please get a fix for the original analog dreams so it responds correctly to automation like version 2.0 does?

I doubt v1.0 will have any further fixes. v2.0 is the framework for all current and future Play Series products, and v1.0 is considered legacy, frozen.
