I assume this extreme HD/database access will be fixed in an update? There surely can't be any logic reason to do this so extensively all the time, even when you are just playing around with an instrument - this should only happen if you install something new or save your own patches/performances. And even so, it shouldn't be as crazy as it is now. It eats up tons of CPU/harddrive cycles that should be used for making music, not for accessing a database!

Not a consolation for those of us that received the ones with the mysterious etchings to the left of the knobs!

...one rubber foot fell off as well (oh, man), I'm waiting for the Komplete 4 upgrade...hmmm I guess, I can be glad that I have sent my laptop to repairs, otherwise I would start to consider eventually beginning to get pissed somehow...

...audiobend - have you received the Komplete upgrade already?

...after I had registered Kore I received an automatic mail that my Komplete upgrade would be shipped within the next ten days. That was about two weeks ago. I live in Germany so I guess, shipping wouldn't take more than four days. But then again, I also haven't received a notification, which I usually get, that my upgrade is on its way. So, let's see - can't use my DAW computer anyway at the moment...

ha, i guess i did buy a piece of furniture - all four feet were gone a couple months ago (i travel w/ it) so i went to the furniture store and bought more, and those are gone too... still hesitant to use super glue - perhaps threaded feet w/ cork would've been a better route?? maybe i'll tap some in.

yeah, those etchings - i looked and looked at mine - at first i thought they were cracks, then i thought the for sure must have some functionality to kore, soo funny.

i then concluded that they were perhaps part of the machining process (tool die or marking for cnc machine/drill press hunh?)

someone said "for this price it should be flawless" - are you kidding? construction at this price is well above average, good greif. i'm actually quite impress w/ the layout and design, although once and awhile one of my buttons pop off.

i'm considering building mahagony ends so it matches my virus, but i'll wait and see if i actually use it.

until i can get it to behave well w/ protools, my core controller sets on the 1st shelf of my workstation desk...

Maybe they were trying to emulate Fenders "Relic" marketing idea.....

The scratches bothered me - that was a definate lack of Quality Control...but Kore works for me and since I don't stare at the knobs much I've gotten to where I don't notice the scratches anymore. I think it is made pretty well.... I do wish they would add midi-controller functionality to it though. I have a Behringer BCR2000 that I use on a lot of my plugins - it would be nice to only have the Kore controller in use (saves on that valuable studio real-estate).

I bet those wood sides would look nice!
