they should have called it the 'A-OK'. Missed opportunity!
Nothing for me. I´ll wait for future versions of Maschine + Maschine controllers.
Saw the new Denon-DJ-Controller from NAMM. The interesting thing: STANDALONE.
We´ll see what NI is bringing next.
...end so it ends.
...ouch - what is this thing supposed to do, that would justify the price? (599 - really???)
What i hate most is this mendacious Video. 599,- €
I do quite like the look of these though.
the plastic Electribe 2 look. It looks like my bold little fingers will destroy it immediately if i touch a button.
...yup, that looks quite good. But I just thought recently, it would be cool, if NI would use their LED/touch strips things from the Kontrol keyboards to create a dedicated mixer for Maschine. Would also provide an opportunity for a couple of additional buttons and knobs...
I think it looks pretty good, but this seems to be just a glimpse of what roland have in store for the hybrid market that they really started with the sp606 as far as sampling grooveboxes.
but this is defo along the right lines, pretty sturdy build quality, hardware feel, usb software integration with on board sounds. (dunno why the industry took so long to evolve to this point now)
hardly a new idea...
obviously not new idea or concept but its just taking so long for the hybrid products to mature u would of thought they would been at this point before 2010.
considering how entrenched computers have been in production for the past 15 or 20 years or so.
25 baby sized keys?
All I need now is a hand transplant with a small child.
That is all.
so how do u type on ur laptop keyboard with ur elephant man hands? I think peeps trip to much off little keys and prolly are not piano players anyway.
I'm thinking u dont need grand piano keys for ur 4 note loops (at least I dont) but the keys are optional
...I think we both agree that this verdict doesn't apply to the clip-on Boutique keyboard thingie?
Only thing i find puzzling right now is the lack of controls, 8 dials is a pain Kontrol/Advance (16 minimum for controlling plugins and buttons please) but 4, not good at all, the format is definitely right (no keyboard needed for plugin controllers)
Swing and a miss
Nice try though kid.
I sure hope this is NOT the groovebox from Roland that people were hinting about
Bring back big synths. Big heavy built like tanks things. Batteries? WTF? All these products are just gimmicks. Have the Aira keyboard and the key quality is terrible. A synth should be full size, with knobs and dials and sliders. These toyshop things should remain in toy shops.
