Still waiting. I went and checked if I was really signed up to the newsletter, because I was actually starting to miss it. No vouchers or anything - I control my own mail server, so I know if I get it or not. NI mail has negative spam points so it won't get caught by filters either.

    Hi,
I'm still having maschine, kore, komplete7 and all soundpacks I need. Is it possible to use the vouchers for buying komplete 8? Think that would help a lot of people in the same situation also then there is no prob with voucher bought soundpacks that will be in komplete 8

If not it seems that your most loyal customers will get nothing!

Bought Deep Freq last night, installed, registered in service center, no patches show up when I filter by that soundpack. Just when you think it has gotten as bad as it will get...:(

i "bought" this one as well last night, presets only show up under "FX", with the bank name "Deep Freq"

i bought all 3 of the "Deeps" last night, VERY impressive. makes me even more steadfast against getting rid of the .ksd file format as the Komplete 7 updates approach us

is there a time limit where we have to activate the packs we buy ? simply because I'm not sure where the disc is.. I'll find it.. but well it's not to hand.

No worries, sowari. I know what you meant, but what I want to say is that the cross grade path with cheap cost to Maschine on NI online store cannot be a good help for some oversea customers... To overcome this, I was hoping the voucher could be used for other variety of NI softwares, not only the some Kore sounds. What's your take on this?

    Hi,

I've still not received the email, is there anything I should know about?

Presumably they're just staggering it for the sake of the servers, but has anyone heard about this?

    cheers

I got my email yesterday. They are probably sending them out in reverse chronological order as I bought the **** and registered it about four months ago.

Title of email is: KORE development roadmap / Free soundpack vouchers. Email reads:

    Dear KORE user,

In the music technology domain, progress is constant. Sometimes, new paradigms and changing user preferences require us to adjust our development priorities in order to further push modern music production forward.

Today we would like to inform you about our future plans for the KORE platform. Our roadmap comprises two further updates for KORE 2, including 64-bit plugin versions for Windows and Mac OS X. Afterwards, further development of the KORE 2 software will cease. Native Instruments has no plans to develop KORE beyond its current generation, and will focus its development resources on advancing other products within the NI range.

KORE 2 will remain operational with your current setup, and technical support will continue to be available for an unlimited amount of time. However, upcoming versions of the KOMPLETE bundle and of individual NI instruments might not include special preset versions for the KORE sound browser.

As an immediate effect, KORE 2 will no longer be available for purchase, and the range of KORE-powered soundpacks will only remain available in the NI Online Shop until July 31st, 2011.

To let you conveniently expand your collection of KORE-powered soundpacks within the available time, we are hereby giving you three online vouchers that you can use for the download products within that range. Each voucher can purchase one KORE soundpack, which have now all been set to the lowest price category of $59 / €49.
These are your personal voucher codes:

    %^&

    %^&

    ^&*

The KORE soundpacks can be found in the NI Online Shop here...

Details about the voucher usage can be found in the fineprint below.

KORE owners can also take advantage of the special offer to purchase the groove production studio MASCHINE at $399 / €349 (instead of the regular price of $669 / €599 in the NI Online Shop) until the end of the year. More information on the crossgrade is available here...

    Thank you for your confidence,

    Your Native Instruments team

The quality of some of these soundpacks makes the discontinuation that much more of a bitter a pill to swallow...

to be honest, i think a Voucher that could be used for other NI products not only Kore Sounds would be a nice idea, especially for those who have already bought them.

i agree with what you say, but i have no power to influence NI on this.

I know Keir is on it (got a PM). Perhaps a separate thread for people who haven't received it yet should be started, just go keep it tidy?

alien factory, I'll send you a PM in a second.

Anyway, as I stated elsewhere today, a load of questions have been asked and I'm in the process of getting all the info together. Our office is closed tomorrow, if you can hang tight until next week I'll be posting answers to some of the more frequently asked questions as soon as I can.

In the meantime, do PM me if you've got an issue you want to highlight.
