Announcing: Audio coming to Maschine in 2.7

What is going on in the title image of the article? Are waveforms visible on the group level only with the repitch and gate mode or always when using audio files?

I am intrigued by the looping goals, but I am curious how much it will differ from what is already on tap if you say, pre-program a note trigger then record in sync mode.

Definitely a step in the right direction. For me the most interesting and important function was at the end of the blog; the recording of audio, which will hopefully follow shortly after the 2.7 update and will not take another year to implement.

“We’re working hard to record audio in Maschine’s workflow,” Chad adds. “Say you want to capture something from an analog synth, or you’re playing guitar and you just want to record a few riffs and experiment with them later. That’s one of the next things to tackle.”

It's not that your opinions are uncomfortable it is just that you go on relentlessly about the same thing over and over and over again and yet you claim not to use the software. We heard you the first time, and the second, and the third and ad infinitum,.Some might call that just a tad boring,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

 

Has nothing to do with discomfort. Has everything to do with you completely derailing conversations with garbage and conspiratorial / completely incorrect assertions.

There are a bunch of people who criticise NI on this forum, you're the only one people want gone.

 

Are you talking about a specific algorithm? Or do you mean to ask if the pitch stays the same when you change the project BPM, and it keeps all your loops playing in time? Because then yes it does

I'm not sure, if I understand you correctly, but how would you enter a file name via the controller? And I solved my issue with not being able to load or create things by creating all kinds of templates and load them via the controller - maybe it's a similar issue, you're having and that could be a solution?

 

I think this will be a welcome addition for many longtime and new users. Good stuff NI!

For those who think the timing of the release is a marketing ploy, what part about a FREE update are you missing? Plus, it’s not a MK3 only feature, works on MK1 etc too. Nothing new to buy here... just saying. Unless you want to .

 

Looking forward to test this. Hopefully, it will have only a few, noncritical bugs...

are you able to play audio up and down the pitch scale using a midi keyboard whilst maintaining time?

yes i know there is kontakt for this (and i have it), but thats such a cumbersome workflow compared to Ableton or the basic Maschine sampler....

alternatively, adding a real stretch algorithim to the Maschine sampler would do the trick. ??

In Gate Mode you can play the loop at different pitches, it's a really fun and creative way to play with loops

Any plans for being able to slice and rearrange slices in this view?
