You guys should give René a free license for every new NI product, so he can keep us all informed about updates :D

So is this is a kind of spiritual successor of sorts to the Pro-53?

...looks like it - I don't know exactly, but it seems to me, everything, that could be done with the Pro-53, can be done with the Super-8 as well. I did a couple of things, that I remembered doing with the Pro-53 and I felt right at home. The synth is a cool design (the GUI could be a bit more exciting, though) and I like it a lot.

Ola.. is there are more demos of the sounds (apart of the 10 on the NI site) of Super 8 on soundclound or somewhere? Just checking.

A couple on YouTube. I’d post links but at work. Woodys Piano Shack has a song he made with it

I had a listen to Woodys track. Its okay. I managed to play around with the demo tonight. Good sounding synth. I wasn't able to get it to work in Reaktor Player 6 or 5. Worked find in maschine.

DDS825 on YouTube also had a look at Super 8. He also plays with expansions when they come out

I checked DDS825 out. yup, he makin' beats with it. But I dont hear it as a hip-hoppy synth. I should post my little ditty I did. Maybe I am the only guy making soundtracky moody stuff with it.

I read that there is auto mapping for KOMPLETE keyboards, but is there auto mapping for the MASCHINE MK3?

Hi, so whats up with the way the demo mode for Super8 works?

Today I tried to revisit the little testing thing I was doing a few days ago and its all no sound -- no sound from the S8 VST in Maschine. I try to click and re-activate it for 30 min demo, it launches NI registration assistant, I can see it's in demo mode, i keep trying and still no sound.

Do I need to completely remove it and reinstall it to get it to work again in demo mode?

...just remove and reload the plug-in instance in your host.

yup. that worked. actually, there is a hidden benefit to that demo system -- it forces you to work fast. get something done before the 30 mins expire and you have to go through the PIA of reloading the VST over and over again.

...indeed, there is that. And it seems like Maschine itself has some similar hidden benefits, but it's not sure, that everyone appreciates these as well. :D Really liked your track.
