Nice will this be compatible at some stage for the new S4 MK3 which I have if the iPad version isn't will the pc version be compatible if none will be compatible will SoundCloud be coming to tp3 at same time

Good point ! ... Regarding S4: even more worse .. what happens with the S4mk2 user, current TDJ works well with them, the TDJ2 not !? So what happens if TDJ2 will replace TDJ1in app store .. Hope NI is fair enough to include the backward compatibilty in TDJ2 to old S4 at least before TDJ1 get sunsetted.

 

1) Those of us hiphop djs have been demanding some of these features since day one. Aligned waveforms.

2) Will this app work on the S4 MK3 or the Z2 MK2?

3) Is there any plans to have a usb hub to connect the iOS app and the S4?

My future (like in the next couple days) purchases depend on this information.

 

When will the full feature list be released? Will be interesting to see if it will support other controllers with future updates

This better be compatible with the s2mk2. I bought when it first came out just because it had an app for ios.

At least NI stepped up with an updated app

 

Things I would like to know are will my iPad Air 2 be recent enough to run the software, as I’ve bought kontrol s2 mk3 a month ago will I get the iPad version for free, and if I buy the power adaptor for the s2 mk3 can the iPad bus power off the controller with a cable so I can play extended sets at gatherings/party’s etc without the iPad running out of battery ?

 

Also will be interesting to see if we get a holder for the iPad just wondering what those two threads are on back of s2 mk3

 

Don't worry about the Air2, i dont know, but i am quite sure the performance will be enough by far.
I played with much older iPad and TDJ1 in the past

Is there a beta program? I'm well versed in providing Ui / UX feedback (I'm a UX designer pretending to DJ )

My S2 Mk2 powers my iPad Pro just fine using the NI-cable, so I have high hopes for your case.
That said: the cable is HELLA short :/ - it barely makes it to the end of my panel in a side by side setup.

I'd like to know if My S2-MK2 will be compatible with this App, too.

One more question: Can I map my panel in such a way I can do the High Pass / Low Pass filter on a single FX knob?
In the current version it is mapped to the GAIN knob, which has no center-snap, which makes me sad

More feedback: Especially on the iPad Pro, using some more of the resolution would be very welcome. The current Traktor DJ App - and the way it's shown in the promotional footage, still looks like an upscaled iPhone App to me. I like bug buttons a lot, but to a certain limit

Nice to see a unified app for all platforms, but been dying for iPad support on Z2. Please tell us it can happen in a firmware update.

 

This is the older cable we use with S2mk2 and TDJ, damn short, right but works well, also charges ipad:
https://www.native-instruments.com/...dia/pricing-usb-lightning-cable-for-z1-s2-s4/ But they may use another one in the S2mk3 because the iOS poat is a USB A connector, the cable has USB B, also dont know which cable the nwe iPad user (without Lightning) are using.

Herman van Boeijen: the current TDJ1 has an 'HP-Filter' FX at least, maybe check if this is what you are looking for.

 

I'm wondering will the desktop version support touch screen input... don't see it mentioned on the website and don't know if it's safe to assume this.

 

Compatible with Z1 and X1, that will be another "light" setup !

And others MIDI devices of course !!

And library sync with TP3...
