Announcing: Traktor DJ 2

One of the main reasons for me choosing the S2 MK3 was iPad compatibility, here I am months later still waiting.........

 

Has the app already pre-set the function for autogain? Unfortunately, I can not find anything.

Will we be able to import music without iTunes? I created a second library where I put all my DJ songs in but it couldn't transfer the files because I have Apple Music/iCloud activated. I don't want to deactivate it on my iPad but I also don't want my normal library cluttered with my DJ songs..

 

Ok, it's late spring 2019 now! Are you seriously going to put off the release of Traktor DJ for another year? Lame. I have been a loyal NI customer for many years and am starting to grow wary of software and hardware promises from you guys! I Have the Z1, F1, S2 MK3, and the Traktor DJ on my iPad...it would be really nice to integrate them more effectively. I mean the S2 even has a port for the iPad! I'm seriously disappointed.

 

I was kinda expecting it last week after your post. What’s the ETA?

 

Bought a S2 MK3 last week and want to use it finally! (I don’t have a Laptop, only an iPad). So it would be nice when TDJ 2 is coming soon!

 

Yep, we know that, but we are hyped now and we want it sooner than later!

 

it will come 'soon' .. NI gave a binding statement: spring 2019 (no further details).
fyi: spring 2019 ends 21st of June (in German HQ) ... means in worst case about 5 weeks from now ... and your S2mk3 will be supported for sure !.

 

I know that - but 5 weeks can be a veeeery long time when you have a Controller that you can’t use until TDJ2 comes out...

 

Why buy the controller before the software has been released?? Especially when u dont have a laptop to use tp3...others are just as desperare to get the new software too, but would u rather they release it now, when there could still be bugs with it or release it when its stable & running as we all expect it??

 

Bought it because the price was good and someone wrote here “It’s not far away now”, so I ordered one. But I knew I have to wait maybe a couple of weeks. And of course I want a bug free app later than a bugged version sooner

 

I want it so I can teach my daughter to DJ. She finds TP3 to be too confusing
