Announcing: Traktor Pro 3

Did anyone who paid for a pre-order of Traktor Pro 3 (update version) accidentally received a full version of Traktor Pro 2 instead, when it was released - I did!

I have tried to contact NI on numerous occasions since the Traktor Pro 3 release date to inform them that I have had a Tractor Pro 2 license for many years and do not know how I received a full download copy of Traktor Pro 2 instead of the Traktor Pro 3 update version.

I have repeatedly asked for a refund on the grounds that I did not get what I paid for, and they are refusing to give me a refund by saying:

"Please note that all download sales are final. We do not accept returns for download products, regardless of if the product is registered or not."

 

Yeah i can verify this, although the programme is rather stable and i have been using it on a daily basis, i did run into this crash, i will say as i do not bash the software, that it is the only issue i have run into. Had my first crash on Traktor Pro 3 when duplicating from deck A to deck B, audio kept playing but nothing on the software could be used, was a software lockup not an audio drop or crash.

 

Payed for this ****, installed it as a demo, now it wont show the full version on Native Access. I always have problems with Ni.

Damn Right mate, I've been using Traktor in one form or another since the original Traktor 2 days... I've always liked the Traktor Pro UI, and can happily say I had a tiny tiny part in making what we got work well... When I saw some of the early reviews of TP3 saying the UI was cleaned up as it was looking dated, I was like, "Really??? how so...??? Well, TP3 really DOES cleanup and modernize the UI. SO far I'm pretty happy with what was delivered despite a few early issues, When I look back at prior releases I think we are actually not too badly off. We'll no doubt all be finding things not right. Its on us to get them logged so that Friedemann and the team can get to work improving things.

 

Arming up with flameproof underwear too I hope mate!!!

 

Windows or MacOS? Drag-n-drop or by using Hotkey(mapping)?
I had no issues with duplicating A to B.

 

Windows 10 on an i7 with 8GB RAM. Was working flawlessly on Traktor 2. Hot key mapping on my Z2. Maybe it's time to raise a ticket

 

seems really slow analyzing multiple tracks on multicore and especially writing the tags afterwards, on a windows machine .....

 

I mapped it to some knobs on my mixer (db4) but might as well delete that, not that impressed with the lets copy pioneer thing..

 

i am using the db4 and traktor in external mixer mode, assigned each deck to a channel en control the gain with the gain knob on the mixer..so why use the software ?

 

any solution for reverse mode with time code? the flux modem does not work, only in internal mode

 

If it fixes my issue with needle calibration, channel faders floating on their own and maxing volumes with new needle drops.....
I will gladly spend the $49 US!

 

Really NI? No Retina Support for MacOS? The UI looks so terrible ...

 

How about TIDAL integration? Any news or plans about that? (like Serato)

yes well they arent gone. They are still there. That you need it while having eq and gain open at the same time is an other thing. I have my loops in and out. I even have them while in extended mode with EQ and Gain as well. And I have them in TP3.
