    hi guys
wel i made the jump and got a machine mk2 with week and not really that enthused with it.. :(
i use traktor- logic-mainstage as well as know maschine 2 software
i just seem to be banging my head against a wall with the maschine software and the mk2 controller..
it just seems that it made all the wrong way round and i'll be buggered if my head can make it out..
i originally got it for tractor as i don't won't controller for everything i.e. drum pads and the like..
I've spent the last 2 and a half days trying to figure the logic behind it workings ???
ok i think I've my heads around the maschine software in a away.. but get duplicate folders in the lists...?
second is the integration with other software.. i.e. logic.. this seems a right bugger to work. nothing seems to be easy on that either.. :(
and the traktor issue is when you use the generic maschine template (tsi).... within traktor itself is their any information on what the buttons and knobs do..?
all the videos on the internet seem to be interesting in a way but theirs no one doing the basic things..
don't get me wrong i good at programming stuff and building grp a rally cars and the such like ..
but to tell the truth this is making me angry.. its not fun or any other word you could mention
any way will give more of my time to sort it out.. even if it kills me...(maybe)
    regards
the ex prime minister of the uk... (not)

I just bought a Maschine Mikro Mk2 last weekend, and also bought the Maschine 2.0 Explained video tutorial from Groove3. The video was designed with Maschine Studio in mind, but I still found it an incredibly fast and easy way to come up to speed on the basics of the software - which was not surprising since I have bought quite a few Groove3 tutorials in the past and have been very satisfied with all of them.

I concur that the videos on YouTube and elsewhere are good to a point, but I have not yet found any others which cover the basics of Maschine 2.0 so thoroughly. The Groove3 tutorial even covers integrating Maschine with various DAWs, including Logic Pro X.

    hi man
well got to grips with a bit more of maschine 2 software. thank god for that
even had a friend round and he had problems .. so it just isn't me having a brain fart moment with this.. :)
on the traktor template/tsi.. finally getting my round that as well.
still not sure if the pads control the on and off function yet it still seems a bit confusing..
on the tutorials i pass on paying $30 + for a set of video's.. i have found some for free and not on pooh tube either... saying that i have a man that can.. strange though he doesn't look like a dj/producer more of a guy you'd avoid as he would boil your kids if he baby sat them...
are well onwards and up the path to enlightenment..
ps still no guid to the tsi and what buttons do what..
    night y'all
