Any reason Kontakt 5 doesn't "really" activate?

    When I bought Kontakt 5 on the 50% sale, I immediatly installed it, but whenever I start it, it always asks for activation:

    I click "Activate", Kontakt then closes and opens the activation center like this:

    But then, nothing happens... no action is taken, no pop-up, and when I try to start Kontakt 5 again, I just get asked to activate...

    When I open it in FL Studios, it doesn't close the Kontakt 5 window after I click activate, so I technically can use it fine, but having to click activate everytime I add an instrument is extremely bothersome, anyone knows what to do?

    That might be a Native Access problem - it almost looks like it is not saving the activation to disk. I do not know if this is possible, but can you check it with Service Center?

    Thanks for the very helpful screenshots. Looks like you're doing everything right, and it's just a computer-specific snafu. Best to call NI tech support on the phone (or follow up via e-mail) so they can give you instructions.

    If you're in a hurry, you can google for "native instruments uninstall instructions" which will show you how to completely remove Kontakt, then you can reinstall it and hopefully it'll work normally at that point.

    Reinstalling didn't seem to do anything.. I wrote a ticket to Service Center a day ago, don't know how long they take to reply, hoping for good

    Okay, this is getting ridiculous
    I tried, once again, to uninstall EVERYTHING in my "uninstall or change program", and the Kontakt Factory Library isn't showing there, I tried to delete it manually, and deleted anything related to Kontakt from my PC, and when I reinstalled Native Access, it's still showing the Library is installed, even though it's not, so now it won't even let me reinstall the library!:

    I even tried using a windows clean-wipe tool that is used for uninstall-problems to uninstall Native Access, but when I start it up, it still thinks the factory library is installed!

    It's been 3 days and I still haven't gotten any attention to my ticket as well... I blew my budget on Kontakt 5 and I'm getting really frustrated here as I can't even use it now...

    Just a shot in the dark, here. I've read numerous posts of people having installations issues with various programs if they haven't performed the most recent Windows 7 update. I didn't see where you stated your OS, so just a WAG.
