Any way of using laptop Keyboard (Mac) for inputing notes when out and about...

    Hi guys, I'm new here... and please forgive me if this is already posted here somewhere. But is it possible to to use my Mac keyboard as input for pads ? In the same way as I can with Logic ?
    Once again I appoligise in advance if this is plainly stated somewhere, but I have been through all my manuals etc... and can't seem to find much. But aye, just being honest I'm not the best with manuals... Thx in advance !
