Did a quick search on the forums and couldn't seem to find an answer.

Is there any way to loop a smaller part of a longer pattern?

Just got my machines last night, and playing in step mode is loads of fun - and was doubling up the pattern, but couldn't seem to find a way to loop only the 2nd half?

If not - is there a way to merge two different patterns? ie:

    - work on something in the step sequencer, split it into a 2nd pattern, keep building up this way - then merge them into 1 longer pattern at the end?

just copy the notes of the second half to a new pattern.
It's on the wishlist, pattern merging would be cool too...

It's weird, I found that doubling up the pattern while in step mode was rather intuitive, same with being able to select which part of the pattern you wanted to work on. But not being able to loop the 2nd part was a annoying.

If I only had 2 parts - it wasn't too bad, but by time I got up to 3 or 4 parts - it really killed the flow I was getting into. Found myself doing compare/split into new groups to keep up the flow I was in.

Ahwell - only spent about 4 hours playing with it so far, and cant wait until my work day is done to get back at it - really is a neat piece of gear.
