I am working with blocks and quickly running out of space, which is frustrating as I have a large monitor...I cannot find any way to zoom in or out (like Ableton's "Zoom Display" slider which "allows you to zoom Live’s screen to any percentage between 50% and 200% of the standard interface size"

I have researched this extensively online and was surprised that I couldn't find any recent information, so thanks for any help

Unfortunately this is a missing feature. Both the panel view and the structure view don't support any thing like this.

The only thing that comes to my mind is using multiple panelsets to group various instruments for easier parameter-changes. Within the structure-view bookmarks can be used to store different places. Although when using blocks this might be probably not very helpful.

If you're on Windows, look into changing how DPI scaling is handled in Reaktor's compatibility settings.

interesting as I am using windows 10 - so this setting is changed from within Reaktor? will have to take a look when I get home from work

Not really within Reaktor, unfortunately; it's a Windows thing. Right click on Reaktor > Properties > Compatibility. Mess around with the DPI settings at the bottom.

I know VCV Rack has zoom functionality if you're interested in that modular program.

I'd love to see something similar to VCV Rack's zoom functionality in Reaktor. Would be very helpful when dealing with large ensembles.

we will see if NI will deal with the strong growing vcv rack.
but they have to be quick. and thats not one of NI strength.

while I have you guys here and since Windows OS came up in the course of this discussion - I was wondering if there is a keyboard shortcut to undo? It is rather cumbersome to have to use the drop-down menu! also, ctrl + z deletes my entire reaktor at times!!!!

this only happens to me if i use reaktor inside a daw. then its simply the undo of creating reaktor inside the daw.

From memory I think this happens in all DAWs. You'll need to use the menus rather than key commands. Or do your building in stand-alone Reaktor and then open it in your DAW once you're done.

good point on using stand-alone as an option - I do prefer the VST version though, especially when working on a full track using other instruments in ableton
