Anybody else missing a bag?/ Thomann & other Stockists Bags.

I've ordered and paid for an X1 and the case from www.decks.co.uk for 189 quid. Quite reasonable but my X1 has arrived without the bag. I rang to find out what's happening and was told NI have had to return loads of the bags to their suppliers as they were faulty and that i'd have to wait for mine as there are none available. Can anyone else confirm if this has happened to them or can any mods confirm if this is true from NI?:S

 

im without the bag too and i ordered from Digital Village, despite their site showin them as in stock which kinda annoyed me a lil! they just said it would follow sometime soon so got my fingers crossed it dont take too long.

 

Faulty how? What? When? Why?

 

I hope I don't get a defective bag... that didn't sound right.

I'm happy to wait for a good one if the current ones have issues.

 

My bag seems just fine...so far...

 

Mine is suppose to be "shipping very soon." We'll see if it's delayed due to quality control issues. Right now I have the X1 on a laptop stand which is a little awkward. I would love to have it next to my mixer.

 

I don't suppose any one from NI can shed any light on this? And confirm when the non-faulty bags will hit the stores?

 

A bag would be nice as mine is sitting on one of the two cardboard pieces included in the box for packaging... For now it sits at the same level as my mixer.. Not sure about durability yet

 

I have mine on top of two Ortofon cartridge boxes. The bag is suppose to be sent soon, but this works for now.

 

... and my x1´sstand on two old brockhaus lexica *lol*

 

Whats the going rate on the bags anyways? $40-$45 usd?

 

Yeah Mine is the latest Mouser Catalog. gotta get a couple of cases though.
BTW I'll ask about the case delays and see what we get back.

4 standard DVD cases for height, doubled up for length here.... tiny bit off but is doin the job for now!

 

Ive cut a foot rubber topped foot rest in two, to X1's fit perfectly on it/them. Alot cheaper than the bags!

 

OK So here is the official word. At present the bags are out of stock because like the X1 they are popular and demand has exceeded supply. I do not have an ETA for you.

It is correct that there was a stitching problem that was discovered before the cases hit the stores. The problem has been corrected. New bags are in the works. Once again no ETA.

Looking forward to getting the 2nd edition bags. Any word on when they will reach the states? Also, any chance of knowing if you are buying the 2nd edition of them?

 

As far as I know the 1st edition never got shipped...N.I. noticed the fault before sending them out, which is why so few bags are shipped until now!
So everyone owning a bag now or in future should have the 2nd edition!

 

I'm here in the states. ordered mine on sun, got it today. Sam Ash Direct has em, and mine looks great! Kind of a overly-snug fit when using as a case tho as it's hard to get the X1 out... Other than that, $50 later (including shipping) and I've got a pretty sweet case/stand!
