Anyone else lost their iTunes artwork after update to 1.1.1?

The artwork is still showing up in iTunes, and is still embedded in my files (they're all locked!). It also shows in the Traktor collection - but when I browse to my iTunes library/playlists with the Traktor browser, no artwork shows for any tracks.

I can load a track into a deck and then the artwork appears in the deck, but still no artwork in the browser list.

Anyone else?

I actually dont enable artwork in Traktor at all but i just did to test your claim out and your right. Now i would say that i dont know if it was any different in 1.0.2 because as i say i have artwork turned off.

 

i can confirm that it was working in 1.0.2

have done. listed a bunch of other browser/collection related bugs/non-sensical behaviour too:

- browser does not remember which column you had ordered it by last time traktor was open (and the current default ordering of the collection seem to be random)

- import date for entire itunes library/playlists shows as today's date (not much use!) - no option to use the itunes 'date added'

- mix recordings automatically added to collection - why?

 

I too am having the iTunes artwork issue. As well as he artwork it also does not display a lot of the track info I have stored in the id3 tag beyond the usual artist, track and album.

 

Me too... no artwork in from iTunes anymore...

It wouldn`t be a big deal if after the artwork when recovered, would stick.
BUT after quitting, the artwork is invisible again.

How on earth could this have slipped by the Beta Team?
Time for NI to start considering Public Betas, since their current team is too small to efficiently perform in depth tests.

How to get the artwork back?

In your Browser, doubleclick the field "Artwork".

it certainly appears so. the fact that richie hawtin is one of the 'faces' of traktor pro, but is still using 3.4 really stinks. NI should sort themselves out in this regard.

interesting. if you do that in the main iTunes list, does it then appear in other itunes playlists for the remainder of that session?

i might be able to live with that, if i can quickly make the artwork show up in a certain itunes playlist, and it will stay there even if i browse to the collection and back.

There is an easier way to make the artwork show.

Import the iTunes Playlists, and your artwork is visible throughout restarts.

i see what you mean, but for me, that misses the whole of having direct access to the itunes library/playlists.

i like to manage my playlists in itunes, and do nice tricks with smart playlists. that isn't possible once you import the playlist to traktor...
