Solved Anyone Having Trouble With Ableton Live 10 KK-MK2 Integration?

I'm able to run my Komplete Kontrol Mkii 49 and the software in Ableton 10 as just a plugin no problem. However, I'm unable to use it to also integrate it's controls with the Ableton software (Stop, record, mixer control, etc.). The controls for the actual Komplete Kontrol plugin are there. I can browse the Komplete plugin library, load presets, arp mode, chord mode. But, the Stop, play, mute, solo, mixer buttons are unavailable when in ableton.

However they do work in the stand alone of komplete kontrol.

I looked into some of the trouble shooting videos about it started with the Live preferences for midi devices. One thing i saw was that Komplete Kontrol Mkii 49 was not showing in the list of midi devices. Weirdly only "Kontrol 49" and "Komplete Kontrol A" were there in the dropdown list of control devices

I then saw a video about dragging Komplete Kontrol Mkii 49 scripts into Ableton's midi remote scripts folder. Did that. Still got nothing.

Anyone having similar issues.

In case it helps I'm using a Macbook Pro 2015 with Ableton Live 10 64bit

 

You have to copy the folders not just the scripts. And then use the Instrument rack not only the plugin itself.

So even after copying the script folders, there is no "Komplete Kontrol MK2" available to select in the control surfaces?

 

Make sure your copying all folders

 

Ah. I wasn't copying the NI folder. It's fixed now. Thanks everyone!
