    There is way more chance for things to go wrong with what you described than just having a sealed box sent to the customer for him to open.

    The impatience is driving us nuts. Why does NI make such beautiful, irresistible products that people can't get over? :D

    By the way, we as customers will always try our best to avoid any problems and support the company as best as we can. :thumbsup:

    In my experience HP had excellent technical service just calling their support number

    It's not a joke (well it is but they don't think so) It's a 8760w and I've just been on it trying to download a bios update for windows 8 would you believe and the discs are showing now without me doing anything!!!!!
    I have no idea why.. I didn't do nuffin guvn'or.. I didn't even wink at it.....
    Lets see if I can now repair all my screwed up installations because the data disc now has a different drive letter.

    Thanks Thanks and Thanks for helping...who knows by tomorrow I may have things functioning properly and be composing my first Symphony.
    I'll call it the addiction symphony I think :D

    You can easily change your drive drive letters. You don't have to repair anything then

    I orderd mine on friday and got my serial today, no problem. Of course you'll need to download it with Native Access ;)

    Best Service response to my email this morning. Confirms that they are getting boxes from NI and then registering the serial numbers to your Best Service account. They apparently got a partial shipment today and promise to have the rest by tomorrow.

    "Native ships boxes to us, we take the license code out and register it in your account. We’ve got 1 out of 7 cartons of the shipment an hour ago, but the upgrade you’ve ordered will be in the other part tomorrow."

    So some people may get (or have already gotten) serial numbers today and others should get them tomorrow, depending on what you ordered.

    Confirms they don't actually sell download but hard-drives ... a bit odd if you ask me.

    Yeah, not sure what they're doing with the actual drives. I doubt they're shipping them to us since they haven't charged us shipping for a "download".

    Komplete 12 Ultimate Upgrade K2-K12

    So it's an upgrade (from K11 in my case) to K12 Ultimate

    I previously wrote..

    I want to go from ultimate to standard (and keep the old ultimate stuff) via an update.

    I would have thought this would be clear, example.

    So from Komplete Ultimate 10 to Komplete standard 12 (keeping the old ultimate stuff).

    The only other license I have is select which came with Maschine.

    Then the answer is as I stated before - it's not possible to go from Ultimate back to Standard.
