    Hi

I have a Pioneer DDJ T1 which came with the Traktor "Pioneer DDJ-T1 edition" software to run with it.

This has worked well and held up during various club nights - with me preparing tracklists in iTunes and then working through a rough set before trimming the setlists in iTunes to leave the tunes I wanted to play on the night.

After a hiatus I have gone back to using the decks again - but have been having laptop problems (it is old and starting to show its age) - I now have a couple of problems and a question (I am not, definitely technically minded so Janet and John answers will be my level :) ).

    1) When I now open Traktor - it loads track collection but then takes an absolute age to "import music folder" - I have my iTunes folder noted and also my WDMYCLOUD listed under Music Folders in Data Location under the preferences tab.
    2) All of the music under iTunes now comes up with the dreaded "xxx cannot be found..." message, despite the same music being in the Track Collection - meaning that I can't simply load/play from playlists created in iTunes.

The question is - I have a new laptop that I can use which runs Windows10, which would rule out the "old" Traktor Pioneer edition software - can I use this software to upgrade to a new version for the new laptop - or does it not count as a "true" version to get a discount against a new version of the software?

Thank you - and be gentle!!
