Are all loaded sounds in a Group, also listed as an individual sound in browser?

    Greetings,

I have noticed that there are certain kick or snare sounds that I like that are automatically loaded into sound slots when loading up a Group patch from the browser. However, when I try to locate that individual kick or snare sound from searching under the Sounds browser, they aren't listed.

So, my question, are ALL individual sounds automatically loaded into the sound slots from loading a Group patch from the browser ALSO listed as individual sounds that you can load from loading up Sound patch in the browser?

    Thanks for any advice

No, they won't be under sounds unless the creator of the library specifically saved the sounds. Look under samples instead.

The sounds themselves (SAMPLER + FX) aren't individually listed, but the samples themselves will all be listed under the sample tab.

Ahh I see, thanks a lot for that feedback! I wasn't even sure if I was explaining my question accurately enough. Thanks again!

    Adamatic,

Also a good idea (adding to b-righteous' and lethal_pizzle's responses) would be, while you have it loaded from the group mode, to look and write down the exact FXs used and their parameters to get that actual sound on the sample, so if you want to enhance it, you have a great starting point. Just a thought;)

Or save any sounds you like that you find in groups for future use e.g., making your own kits from bits of different kits.

I have always wished the sounds included in the factory kits had been saved as individual sounds too though. It would have saved many an hour and would make the sound preset part of the library seem even more impressive. I realise it would have taken the Maschine sound design developers a while to do (or they could have got some minumum wage minions to do it), but it would have also been very helpful and useful.

To be honest, it's likely very possible with some automated mouse software, as has been used to saved some VST presets to Maschine sounds before...
