Most drivers made for win 10 will work with win 11, I made a test installation with win 11 and my maschine studio and my A49 keyboard are both working.

My Komplete Kontrol S61 MK2 does not work with the latest Komplete Kontrol installed. There are no MIDI ports available. Only the DAW port is available.

Seems that in my case it only worked cause I made an upgrade from 10 to 11, after an komplete kontrol update and therefore a new install of bones midi driver, my A49 has the same problem. Will investigate it today later.

So I checked again and my A49 works with win 11, both ports are there. Have you installed the software with hardware disconnected, as you should?

Here is a screenshot of my Input and Output Devices:

    And Device Manager:

Can't figure it out. Why would the MIDI Input not show up for me to select? I think I saw a entry in Regedit for the 2 MIDI ports that normally show up. Any ideas? I have this open as a support ticket with NI as well. I have sent them these screenshots as well. Waiting to hear back.

Ohh and i mixed it up, the DAW Port is the one using bomes midi port driver, the other should always work. So then it's even more weirder.

It gets even more interesting, in my case it´s the other way around, the keyboard midi port is there but the daw port is missing.
I only tested in maschine first but today opened up cubase and then a lamp goes on in my brain - there was something in the forum.
I can see it as device with driver missing.
Really, i hope i find the time soon to go back to a fresh install of windows 10, i also tell everybody to not upgrade if they work\rely on the computer.

ok, Steinberg has confirmed Cubase 11 pro is compatible with W11, I will wait for the Native Instruments announce.
But I will have a new i9 12900K, and it works well with W11...

I have uninstalled and reinstalled too many times. I have installed with my Komplete Kontrol S61 MK2 completely disconnected and did not connect and power up until installation was complete and successful. This is my Device Manager to compare again. I also have a NI USB Devices which I do not see in your Device Manager. That is curious. I got to imagine that Komplete Kontrol has got to be pretty high on their list of software that needs to be compatible with Windows 11. I got to imagine there are a lot of people that are already running Windows 11 or wanting to upgrade to Win 11.

Maybe some, but most who have used computers for any length of time will typically wait until at least drivers are announced as W11 compatible. Software is typically not normally an issue but hardware drivers are going to be the issue. Upgrading from W10 > 11 is safest as W11 may have completely different signature requirements which developers have to account for and test so without any word that things are compatible, you kind of have to wait if you have already shot yourself in the foot and upgraded.

For future never consider an OS upgrade (mac or win) without first checking most of your key software and hardware or at the very least, take a backup snapshot so you can easily roll back if things don't work.

Curious if there is any update on KK S-series MK2 driver compatibility with Win11. I haven't upgraded yet. Are things generally working for those who have upgraded or are there still some issues?

There are still issues. No MIDI control of any VSTi's yet. No update I know of. Komplete Kontrol is still sitting at v.2.6.5...waiting for 2.6.6 and hopes that is will work in Win 11. I have volunteered to be a beta tester but haven't heard anything back about that.

Thanks. I will stay on Win10 for now. Maybe I will update my work computer and test out KK, but I don't know when I'll get around to that.
