are these original Les Miserables patches?

Someone sent me these, are these the original patches? The names don't match, but it's 4 times 32 sounds with the right instruments.

 

I have no idea if they are the original patches or not, but the one's I've auditioned so far sound ok.

Someone tried them yet? I have thousands of DX7/DX7II/TX etc patches but these are the best I heard I think

lol, your post crossed mine. More then okay, I think I always managed to stay away from musicals so I really don't know if these are the real ones. And if they are, am I in trouble? There must be some copyright protection on patches, they're just a little over 25 yrs old. But no one can tell if someone made these patches to sound like Les Miserables, lol.

 

I don't know if you would be in any trouble posting them here, after I downloaded yours earlier I looked round tintyweb to see if I could find anything more about them - apparently the original dx7 patches were available at one point but the link I found was now dead.

There's more info about them here as well as the dead link just above the patch list, if you are worried about getting in trouble then maybe you should delete them from your original post - it wouldn't bother me as I've already downloaded them :lol:

Sure, these presets were sold to theater companies and you don't accidentally run into these settings, in this case we copy someone else's work, with or without permission. You can't legally give people copies of sheet music you bought either, or give me a collection of Massive presets that are meant for sale

There's a funny story about that; when one of the most important Stravinsky conductors did a concert on his birthday party, Stravinsky himself gave all orchestra members an arrangement of Happy Birthday to You. They would start playing that instead of whatever came first on the program, nice surprise.

But... a copyright protection organisation walked in and confiscated all parts of the arrangement, because there was still copyright on Happy Birthday to you

 

Hey guys - I’ve having trouble loading these into Massive. I’m using the demo version to make sure they work. Will it only work in the full version? I did the convert KSD batch and put them in the sounds folder. They show up but won’t make sound. Thanks!
