Great sound. Good connectivity. Flexible monitoring options. And the big plus...the volume control on top of the box. I find the level of the phone amp rather low, though.

Recording with a mic and Komp. Audio 6

Do any of you "expe" users know, for sure, if I can get 2 channel recording when using a mic and KA6? I am only able to get, either, a left signal or right signal. I really don't want to record voice, etc, with playback on one speaker. Help----please...

Currently im using Scarlet 8i6 and KA6 . To me they both sounded great,, both have same amount of input n'output ..
When recording vocal, KA6 will sound a bit on the bright side,, while 8i6 will give u "warm" tone .. Both are full duplex interface! U can record 2 guitars at once with no problem..
There 's'not much to compare between this two.. If u looking for smal and portable unit,, the KA6 will be best but if for a class studio looks for home studio (not usb powered) 8i6is the way to go for me.. They both are great for my studio,, nothing to complain about,,:)
Im gonna really test them out soon, im sure there's'a purpose for the extra power needed for the 8i6..

Yes this is my only complaint that I can deal with. Great build, firm usb slot and not issues!

got mine today and the headphone output is way to low, my macbook pro has louder outputs.. is there anyway to make it louder somehow?

my headphone distorts through the headphone output when turned up fully , just tried the macbook output and no distortion and lots louder seems clearer aswell.
