I've tried shortening clips and notes by tiny amounts, but it still happens. When I have a pattern and it starts from the beginning again, and the notes and/or clips are adjacent, the pattern starts on the 2. Live 9.2 Yosemite

Can you please post more details like
    • which arp pattern or arp settings are you using exactly?
    • what's the length of the midi item?
    • and so on ..
In addition can you maybe also upload a Reaper .rpp project file with a simple example.

    Thanks for replay!
Here is small rpr file with bug.
In key mode when I hit a chord arpeggiator is supposed to start from 1 step, but it starts from 2.
This problem happens in standalone version as well.
    Everything is ok in Cubase...

It's showing the same behavior here with FM8 64-bit (arp starting from step 2). FM8 32-bit doesn't have this problem.
Looks like it's a bug of the 64-bit version which is still not fixed: https://www.native-instruments.com/...not-play-starting-note-in-arpeggiator.214956/

If you haven't already you can also contact NI Support about this directly: http://www.native-instruments.com/en/company/contact-ni/
