Arpeggiator in step mode

    I can't seem to use the arpeggiator in step mode, so I guess you can't.

    Why is it not compatible with this mode?

    I used to use FL plugins that used arpeggiator like this.

    an arpeggiator is usually viewed as a live performance tool so is pretty much the opposite of step mode... you can of course hit rec, and play the arp into a 1, 2 measure or whatever sequence if you wish...and this would be the only way to retain any rhythm or timing of the original arp pattern.

    Step mode in maschine is pretty basic, useful for drums but not really for melodic parts, it is monophonic per sound and relies on manual intervention via controller for changing note values..
