Arpeggiator Key Sync Broken

I just upgraded to Komplete 8 Ultimate, and noticed that FM8 arpeggiator Key Sync is not working properly. With Key Sync enabled, when i hit a note on my keyboard, the arpeggiator generally skips the first note in the arpeggiation and starts on the 2nd. It only hits the first note rarely with Key Sync on.

I've gone back and tested the previous version of FM8 in Komplete 7 and it works perfectly fine - always hitting the first note in the arpeggiation when i hit a note on my keyboard with Key Sync on.

Any ideas?

 

Which version do you get with K8? I've got K7 & I'm on version 1.2.0

I find that nudging the note a little earlier in the DAW ensures it hits the first note in the pattern.

 

after a lot of tweaking i discovered changing my audio buffer settings, increasing them in Cantabile and my m-audio fast track ultra 8r, fixed the issue. they are both set to 256 samples. also seems to elimate a few rare dropouts as well.

 

I'm glad to hear you've figured out a work around, I've tried increasing my audio buffer settings as well but it doesn't seem to make any difference for me.

 

Bump - The year is 2018 and the issue still exists on FM8.

 

They have been aware about it for years. They just don't fix it. I love FM8 and the old FM7 but I consider FM8 as abandonware.
