    Hi Maschinists,

Anyone care for a true arpeggiator within Maschine?

Although Note Repeat can be pressed into duty for vaguely similar effects, it would be great if there was a proper Arpeggiator in Maschine in a future upgrade.

Perhaps accessible via a Modifier key or maybe set/on off with local parameters on a per Track/Pad basis?

Yees an arpeggiator and a chord function so that in keyboard mode the pads can output chords preferably different once per pad. Someone else posted a great idea along these lines already.

+1 for an arpeggio. this is missing
+1 for that chord feature. A scale feature too.

If the midi in wasn't restricted, you could at least have the host track or external workstations arpeggio trigger sounds in machine.

I'd like to see something different (more) than the classic up/down/random arpeggiator, like a gate arpeggiator (kaossilator style ) for example ( with scale feature, of course), and I'd really love to see an analog style step sequencer.... that 8 encoders row seems like it was created to do that!

    Arpegiator ? Anyone ? :D

This would be really cool. And a Chord generator like Ableton Live :D

I use the chord generator like this: set it to play a 7th and from the Mod wheel i set major or minor. Values below 64 are treated as minor and values from 64-127 like major.

It's really useful in a live situation :D ... and for music production. If you're a guitar player like me and you don't know your way around the keyboard very well this is useful.

In conclusion, it would be cool to have these in Maschine.

I agree, an arpeggiator and an easy way to play chords with the pads would be very helpful features

a decent arp, perhaps with user patterns, a scale feature, along with chord functions on the pads would tip me over the edge to buy one.

i'm not a great keys player and i love the scale & chord features in ableton.

    here's hoping....
