i have read already on how the inputs of vokator work with hard panning busses and such. But i just dont know how to set it up in logic to work. Im trying to run it in a way where i would have FM7 modulating a synth such as ES2 or Absynth. So i just dont know how to route both inputs into vokator. The main problem of course is that no matter whether i have vokator pulled up on a instrument track on put on a bus insert i cant have two inputs bussed into a single channel except for the sound card inputs. So say if i have fm7 sending on bus 1 and absynth on bus 2 i cant assign anything to run on Bus 1-2. At least i just dont know how. I know that this is specifically a logic problem but i hope someone here can help me out cause the logic forums have no love for pc users. ive never once got any legitimate help at those forums. And the emagic manual is the most horribly written manual i have ever read. (and ive read a few). hope i made my issue clear. Its logic 5.5 by the way. On windows xp.

    hi there.
i am not sure if this if i understood what you meant but .
lets say you want es 2 and absynth to be processed by vokator.
route the output (not a send) the output of both audio instruments (es2 & Absynth) to a bus lets say (bus 1), then on a aux. object in which you'll have vokator, select the same bus as its input (bus 1) and its output to your normal outputs (audio card 1 & 2 perhaps)
the only thing is that i can't remember is, if logic5.5 had implemented Aux. objects , where you can have inputs and outputs; not like bus objects where you only have outputs
    hope this helps
    cheers mate

Damn! i was reluctant to leave this post cause i knew the problem was right in front of my face. I didnt realize that individual busses in logic were stereo. Cause they arent in Digital Performer which is what im used to using on my Mac. Thanks for helping me out. Even though i feel like an idiot now.
