Articulation Sets Bug (Logic & KK)

Hi. I'm having a nightmare getting Articulation Sets working with Komplete Kontrol.

I'm using BabylonWaves Art Conductor articulation sets in Logic Pro 10.5.1. Everything works fine with instruments via the Kontakt plugin, but with the same instrument in the KK plugin, the articulations change one note too late.

e.g. Using the Symphony Essentials Solo Flute, if you have 3 notes in a region, first two legato, third note staccato, and hit play:
- you'll hear "legato legato legato"
- play the same section again and you'll hear "staccato, legato, legato".

Visually the articulation is being selected at the right time in KK, but it must be happening ever so slightly later than it should, or maybe KK is processing notes faster than keyswitches. I don't know. As much as I enjoy procrastinating, could you please fix it ASAP so I can get some work done with all this expensive hardware and software I've bought from you? Cheers.

 

Hi Joe. I'm having the same issue. Very inconsistent across instances of KK within my project though.

I'm wondering if you ever got to a resolution on this. Very frustrating.

Glad it's not just me having this issue. It's now April, 2021 and I'm in Logic 10.6.1 using Catalina and Art Conductor 7.1. In testing it seems that most things don't switch on time when they're hosted inside of Kontrol. I was having issues with an Albion one Strings patch inside a big project so ditched Komplete and went back to Kontakt. But, when testing this in a stand alone "test" song these strings are switching on time. The same project shows that BBCSO still doesn't work. I was wondering if there was a setting in either the VI's, Logic or Komplete that would magically fix this.

Update: After a lot of futzing I've gotten to "kind of" work. I'm not sure how consistent it's going to be as it's a little hit or miss at this point. I did reinstall Komplete Kontrol and rescan plugins, as well as simplified the scan location to just my main VST folder. So far I've gotten BBCSO, Kontakt (running Albion One) and Play to work. Play has been weird though and seems to work on one track and then not work on another. In fact, the whole thing might still be sketchy. We'll see.
