    Hi,

Is anyone using this with Reaktor?

I wonna setup the controller with an ensemble like Grainstates, where the internal sequence corresponds to the pads on the Arturia (1/4, 1/8, 1/16, FWD, REV, RAND)

    :)

    Lol, nice idea

i think the best way to do this is to put Grainstates into 'Manual'Mode. this is where the 'Scenes' are selected by MIDI Notes. you can then use the Beat Step Sequencer to send MIDI Notes into Reaktor.

in the pic below, you can see how i have got the mSel Button On and Split set to 60.

Scene 1 should then be selected by Note 48.

on Beatstep, i started just with Pad 1 active in a Sequence and moved knob 1 so that Pad 1 was sending the correct note to trigger Scene 1 on Grastates. as you can see, i inserted a MIDI Monitor Instrument into the structure which told me which notes were coming in.

i think it is best to have the Beatstep Sequencer running 1/8 or 1/4 and not too many Pads on, but you can use FWD, REV, ALT and RAND to get variations.

Beatstep can also send Clock to Reaktor or Receive Clock.

    does this make sense?
