ASIO oder DirectSound (Komplete Audio 6)

    Hallo, ich benutze die Komplete Audio 6 und das DAW Fl-Studio. Bei den Audioeinstellungen kann ich das Interface sowohl als "ASIO" wählen, als auch als "DirectSound". Der Unterschied ist, dass man bei Asio zwar mehr einstellen kann, ich aber auch viele Crackles und Dropouts habe. Auch mit verschiedenen Einstellung habe ich das noch nicht in den Griff bekommen. System ist Windows 7 32bit, 2.2 ghz dualcore, 4 gb ram.
    Wenn ich in den Einstellungen "DirectSound" wähle, werden die Dropouts weniger, verschwinden jedoch nicht vollkommen.
    Gibt es einen Grund, warum ich zum produzieren trotzdem ASIO verwenden sollte, oder ist das egal?

    Ich hoffe jemand versteht was ich meine.

    Hi,

    It depends on your computer system and the daw you are using.
    Asio is most of the times the better, but it depends on you buffer size, the more the longer your responsdelay.
    CHeck this out with : http://www.thesycon.de/deu/latency_check.shtml

    Perhaps you can use asio4all (http://asio4all.com/). This solves sometimes the problem.
