    Hey all!

Im extremely noob on all this kind of stuff so you know, dont flame me too hard. Anyways the story is this: I just recently got a Numark Mixtrack (not the pro), i realized after i needed a sound card so i got a Sound Blaster play (USB, i know its not the best choice but im really only seeing if i like this kind of stuff). Anyways while im trying to activate the USB sound card in ASIO4ALL, it sends my screen black and my computer reboots. Now my Audio is set to: "ASIO4all", but obviously without the usb active my output routing is barren.

tl;dr: My traktor/computer crashes when trying to activate my SB play soundcard in ASIO4all, anyone got a fix?

PS: Ive been searching relentlessly since yesterday so im sorry if someone has posted it before, i couldnt find it.

it might be that your bios battery is going flat or the bios is malfunctioning

    You don't need ASIO4ALL.

Uninstall it and try with the drivers supplied with your sound card.

Creative Asio is crap for Traktor. Be sure Your Creative Soundcard is set to 5.1 and unnessessary programs/services by Creative are switched off. Are You using the Xi-Fi ? Used that for a while and it is pretty decent with Asio4All.

'BIOS battery flat' is really the dumbest advice I've read for a while...
