hello, i did a search but could find nothing covering this.

I am trying to fulfil an assignment i have from university at the minute which involves creating drums in reaktor and having them trigger on seperate notes, ie, KICK on c3, HiHat on c#3 etc etc.

I have created the drums but just cant figure out how to get them triggering on seperate notes. I have looked at the midi channel and note range in the auxiliary section but cant seem to figure out where and even if these are the correct tools for doing this.

If someone could help me out i would be eternally grateful.

    thanks for ur help

    SM

Use the selective gate. Look at Drumatik from the premium library to see how it's done.

I think Memory Drum by James Walker-Hall is doing exactly what you are looking for. Check this out:

    http://www.lost-online.com/memorydrum/index.htm

"Memory Drum is a comprehensive MIDI drum sampler that enables the independent configuration of up to 60 drum samples in a single, easy-to-use interface. Memory Drum is part of the Reaktor 4 Premium Library."

Memory Drum is an excellent ensemble, BTW!
