it would be really good if there was a way to define the root key, the highest and the lowest key when loading a sample so that more than just one sample can be used per pad WITHOUT using the software
and the possibility to replace just one sample from a pad (eg when i have lets say 15 sounds layered each on one note from c3 upwards and they play nicely together but i want to change just one at the moment i have to go into the software and change it EVERY time manually. it would be great if i could stpe through the library. at the moment it is possible to select just one sample but when loading a new one the new one deletes every sample on this pad and is automatically mapped over the whole range(

but can't you use the Controller to Select a Sample in a Map? and then you will see the Root, Lo and Hi Key for that Sample.

yes that is possible (i think) but it is not possible to load a new sample using the controller and placing it just on one key on the scale (ie i want to change the hihat from a drumkit which lies completely on one pad: c1 bassdrum, d1 snare, e1 HIHAT, and so on) as soon as i load a sample onto a pad where more than one samples are mapped already, ALL samples get replaced by the one i loaded and it gets mapped over the whiole scale. doesnt sound so bad as you could replace just one sample in the software but if i wanted to step through lets say a bank of hihats it wouldn't be possible. i use 1 pad for a drum anyway but i am thinking of banks with small beeps and hits. sound from which i use very often more than one to interact with each other and there are simply not enough pads to give every sound one pad (i am still hoping that i will be able to have all ingriedients for a track in 1 group and the possibillity to do something live just loading groups when i need them
