AU Plugins not working without VST

Since Logic is my main DAW I don't use VST only AU, I there any way for AU NI plugins to work in Maschine without VSTs installed because they only seem to load if I have the VST AND the AU.

 

odd as you do not have to even install the vst if you do not want to... or the au ... and you do not even have to have a vst path in m2 set if you are only using au... i wish i could not have the au load at all of the external plugs...

 

you really need to keep the VST versions.

if you load from the Browser then the VST versions of the plugins are loaded.

Yep, the browser integration for Komplete does not include AU.

 

never noticed.. . so regardless of whether you have a path set for the vst, it still loads them from the browser.. .. i wish there was a way to not have the AU path in m2 or to set it like you could in m1.x, that way if you have an au only plug you can put in in your user folder ,....

 

Ohhh ok, that kinda sucks I really don't want to install two version of one plugin, Is there another way to load NI AUs in Maschine?

 

Shift+browse will allow you to load an AU. Also the little drop down menu from the plug-ins slot in the GUI.

 

but you will loose the core browsing capabilities of Maschine.
