    evening all,

what should the sample rate and latency be set to on traktor?

I've gone from a audio 8 with no problems to an audio 10 with big problems.

With the sample rate set to 44100 and latency to 512 it all starts to slowly go out of sync. so when i see a beat on the screen i hear it a second or so after and the audio also begins to degrade to an unplayable quality.

With it set to 48000 and 512 it seamed ok with the odd pop but after a while full audio drop out and had to restart traktor to recover.

with it set to 48000 and 448 it seams ok but has very annoying audio pops now and again.

Was a bit gutted ive had these problems :( traktor with the audio 8 was so reliable and never had a problem. But last night mid set to a big crowd i was getting these drops outs etc. Thank god i had back up decks.

    any suggestions? cheers

not working for me. Plays fine for a while but slowly the audio starts to degrade. Just reinstalled my mac os after trying everything else, going to give it another try

went from audio 8 to audio 6 with timecode mk1 a year ago. latency is the same or a little better with audio 6 I think.
Some times lower latency is better than higher
    try 1/128, 2/128 or 1/256, 2/256 at 44100

    what is your computer specs?

I belive pops/spikes in middle of a set is probaly because of hot cpu or bad OS setup/custimization

preferences/audio setup, hit settings button next to latency slider (audio card control panel)
    ex.
    1/128
    44100 Hz sample rate
    128 samples
    1 ms USb Buffer

hmm, I only know about audio 6 & pc, maybe its different than mac or audio 10

In Audio 6 control panel on pc ther is a "audio settings" button on top of "channel setup" button to change usb buffer size
I dont see that button on screenshot of audio 10 control panel window, so you will have to ask your question to a mac user
